Kourosh Food Industry is one of the subsidiaries of Safflower Industrial Group, which started in 2001 under the name of Baharan Petal Cultivation and Industry with the aim of developing business and entering the field of food industry. Since the establishment of the company, the production of various products such as edible oils, olive seeds, olive oil, tomato paste, fish, canned food, jams, pickles, etc. with the brands of Ovila, Famila and Kimball was on the agenda. At the beginning, the production of products was outsourced with the approach of using the empty capacity of the country’s factories. He bought and set up his first factory in 2013 in Heydariyeh industrial town in Qazvin province, and a year later, the construction project of Kourosh food industry factory in Eshtehard industrial town began. At present, the company’s products are made in two factories in Eshtehard and Takestan. Also, with the aim of completing the supply chain and other quality and economic goals, the oil storage tanks of Kourosh Food Industry Company with a capacity of 36,000 tons were opened in Imam Khomeini Dam in 1995. Since the beginning of 1995, oil products from Golberg Agro-industry Company Baharan was separated and its management was concentrated in Kourosh Food Industry Company. Kourosh food industry at the beginning of 1996 with about 500 employees continues to be present and produced in the field of food industry. One of the special achievements of this presence, in line with the innovative and health-oriented approach of the company, is the production of special oils such as palm-free frying oil, which has been offered to Iranian consumers for the first time.
