Iran Avandfar is one of the country’s largest producers of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and personal-care products, founded in 1359 (1980–81).

Under new management in 1362 it began with two products. Rapid growth moved the plant first to 6,500 m² and then 15,000 m² in Karaj’s Simin Dasht Industrial Town from 1372, with warehouses later expanding by about 25,000 m².

Today the company produces roughly 12,000 tons a year of shampoos, dishwashing and hand soaps, and fabric and hair conditioners, plus about 1,700 tons of creams, lotions, hair gels, toothpastes, and dental gels—around 560 formulas in total across its beauty, hygiene, and pharma lines under brands including Bess.
