Bijan

Bijan food products date to 1348 (1969–70), though engineer Bijan Mohajerin (b. 1315 / 1936–37) had already begun in his home basement. After graduate studies in the United States, where he learned about white sauce, he launched Diamond factory in 1348 and brought mayonnaise to Iran for the first time—starting with one mixer and a carton of oil.

From those beginnings Bijan grew into one of Iran’s best-known sauce and condiment brands, expanding cold and hot sauces and related foods that still sit in household shopping baskets nationwide.
