MazMaz

MazMaz’s story began in 1370 (1991–92) with Iran’s first industrial potato-chip factory. The founder’s main concern was the harm of traditional chip-making in unhygienic pots and pans, using oil that produced fatty acids and reached its smoke point—fuel for serious disease. The Health Ministry shared that worry for consumer safety.

Industrial production under MazMaz raised hygiene and quality standards for Iranian snacks, growing the brand into one of the country’s best-known chip and snack names.
