Mihan Company was founded in 1354 (1975–76) by Ayyoub Paydari, who began in his teens selling ice cream from a handcart. Years of work turned a small workshop into Iran’s largest ice cream and dairy producer—today employing more than 11,000 people across operations with covered production space exceeding 350,000 square meters.

A national distribution network of more than 60 centers places Mihan products in over 200,000 stores, with roughly 65% of the ice cream market and 50% of sterilized milk. Premium ingredients and modern technology have also won fans in export markets including Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Pakistan, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Malaysia, and Afghanistan.
